VVDN and QNX Join Forces to Deliver Safety-Critical Solutions in Automotive and Embedded Domains

VVDN Technologies, a global provider of software, product engineering and electronics manufacturing services and solutions, announced an engagement with QNX, a division of BlackBerry Limited and a trusted supplier of real-time operating systems (RTOS), hypervisors, development tools, and safety-certified software solutions.

Working together, QNX and VVDN are empowering customers across automotive, industrial, medical, aerospace and defence, and other mission-critical sectors to accelerate embedded software development. Combining QNX’s robust, safety-certified software stack, including the QNX® Neutrino® RTOS and QNX® Hypervisor for Safety with VVDN’s deep expertise in automotive electronics, hardware design, and end-to-end manufacturing, the engagement aims to deliver a powerful, integrated foundation for innovation, functional safety, and faster time to market, in areas such as:

· Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs): Combining QNX’s foundational software platform with VVDN’s capabilities in centralized ECU development and OTA updates to simplify SDV development and enable continuous improvements.

· ADAS/ARAS and Autonomous Driving: Leveraging QNX’s real-time performance and safety certifications with VVDN’s expertise in sensor fusion, AI/ML integration, and camera-based solutions for advanced driver assistance systems and autonomous driving.

· Digital Cockpit and Infotainment: Integrating QNX’s secure and reliable operating systems with VVDN’s capabilities in UI/UX development and multimedia system customization for next-generation in-vehicle experiences.

· eMobility Solutions: Combining VVDN’s expertise in Battery Management Systems (BMS), power electronics design, and EV chargers with QNX's secure software solutions to address the growing demands of the eMobility market.

· Embedded Domains such as Medtech, Industrial, Robotics, Aerospace and Defence: By providing VVDN’s hardware platforms with BSP and device drivers optimized with QNX® software, the engagement aims to deliver greater value to OEMs via high-performance, scalable, and secure embedded systems.
