TechnologyOne launches Guide for students and a new generation of AI-powered experience

TechnologyOne has announced the availability of Guide for students, its new agentic AI for higher education, alongside a new generation of AI-powered experiences designed for students, employees and residents.

Guide for students is a new student-facing experience powered by TechnologyOne, which helps students navigate their entire journey, from enrolment to graduation and beyond, simply by asking a question.

Deeply integrated with an institution's core systems, Guide connects information, services and support through a single conversational interface. Students can ask questions, complete tasks and receive personalised guidance through a simple conversation while institutions gain deeper insight into student engagement and support.

The launch of Guide represents TechnologyOne’s next step in helping institutions deliver more connected and student-centred experiences. It is complemented by a range of new capabilities designed to simplify the student lifecycle. These include DxP Apply, a modern self-service application experience, AI-powered Identity Verification to streamline enrolment and onboarding, and new capabilities to simplify invigilator scheduling and exam administration. Together, these innovations help institutions reduce complexity and deliver a more personalised student journey.

TechnologyOne’s Executive Vice President for Education, Mark Jones, said, “Universities have invested heavily in digital transformation, yet the student experience often remains fragmented. Guide combines AI and enterprise intelligence to create a simple, connected and personalised experience for every student.”

TechnologyOne is also expanding its AI-powered experiences for employees through the next evolution of Plus, introducing a growing suite of specialised agents that help employees work more efficiently, make informed decisionsand reduce administrative effort.

Designed for finance, procurement, projects and operational teams, Plus helps organisations improve productivity, accelerate decision-making and reduce administrative effort across everyday ERP workflows. By combining enterprise data, context and intelligence through voice conversations, employees can access information faster, uncover insights and move from questions to action in seconds.

TechnologyOne is also introducing new enhancements within Property & Rating, helping councils streamline administration, improve customer service and strengthen governance. From managing customer records through to regulatory and rating processes, the latest enhancements are designed to reduce manual effort and provide greater consistency across everyday operations.

The new enhancements help councils improve data quality, reduce manual administration and simplify customer interactions across key regulatory and service delivery processes. Together, they enable councils to deliver faster, more transparent and community-focused services.

TechnologyOne’s Executive Vice President for Local Government, Ben Malpass, said “Every interaction matters, whether it's submitting an application, seeking advice or managing property information. Residents judge councils by the quality of the services they receive, not the systems that sit behind them. By simplifying everyday processes, councils can spend less time navigating administration and more time supporting their communities.”

“This next evolution isn’t about adding more tools to the workplace. It's about embedding intelligence into the workflows people use every day. By doing so, helps people focus less on navigating systems and more on making decisions, solving problems and delivering outcomes.”

These features represent the future in TechnologyOne's vision for AI-powered SaaS ERP, embedding intelligence directly into the experiences people use every day.
