Fujitsu launches technology-first Uvance Wayfinders consulting practice
Fujitsu has
launched its Uvance Wayfinders consulting practice in Australia
and New Zealand to close the critical gap between business strategy and
technology transformation. Organisations now have access to a new consulting
partner to navigate complex digital landscapes, address sustainability challenges,
and unlock new growth opportunities. To spearhead this effort, Fujitsu has
appointed Mat
Franklin as
Head of Oceania and Managing Partner, Uvance Wayfinders.
Uvance Wayfinders, Fujitsu’s global consulting arm, applies
innovative technology solutions and strategic guidance to empower organisations
across industries to achieve their full potential. Rooted in Fujitsu's Japanese
heritage, Uvance Wayfinders combines consulting expertise with advanced
technology capabilities, including quantum computing and high-performance
computing. The approach is built on long-term partnerships, a commitment to
quality, and creating lasting value for customers and society. This launch
represents a significant investment in the Oceania market, augmenting Fujitsu’s
expertise in advanced technologies, cloud, security, data, and enterprise
solutions to deliver transformative digital outcomes for businesses and
governments.
Peter Grassi, CEO of Fujitsu
in Oceania, said: “For too long, the consulting industry has been seen as a
transactional business. Uvance Wayfinders is not another consulting bolt-on. It
combines our deep local knowledge with Fujitsu’s global innovation and
technology leadership. This gives our customers access to advanced technologies
including trusted AI and high-performance computing, all backed by our AU$1
billion annual investment in research and development globally. We’re
continuing to build a world-class consulting team to help customers unlock
transformative growth and navigate the complexities of the digital age, forging
long-term partnerships with businesses and government organisations across
Oceania."
Mat brings extensive experience in driving transformative
digital outcomes to the role. Prior to joining Fujitsu through the acquisition
of his consulting firm, MF & Associates, he held senior executive positions
at the Department of Defence and the National Disability Insurance Agency.
Mat Franklin, Head of Oceania
and Managing Partner, Uvance Wayfinders, said:
“Organisations in Australia and New Zealand are facing a more demanding
environment - one where transformation must deliver results, but also stand up
to greater scrutiny from Boards, regulators, customers and the community.
Uvance Wayfinders will combine Fujitsu’s expertise in AI, cyber security and
digital innovation to co-create and deliver with our customers. Our focus is on
helping leaders achieve outcomes that are technically feasible, secure and
sustainable, while grounded in strong governance, clear values and the trust
needed to create lasting impact.”
