Nutanix Recognised Across Three 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant Reports
Nutanix has been recognised across three 2026 Gartner Magic
Quadrant reports: Distributed Hybrid Infrastructure, Server Virtualisation and
Container Management.
The recognitions cover Nutanix Cloud Platform and its
capabilities across AI workloads, applications, data, virtual machines,
containers, and Kubernetes environments.
Distributed
Hybrid Infrastructure: Nutanix was recognised as a Leader for
its Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision. Nutanix Cloud Platform gives
organisations a unified platform to run and manage AI workloads, applications,
and data across on-premises, cloud and edge environments, while maintaining
flexibility in how and where they deploy infrastructure.
o Nutanix continues to build on its abilities in virtualisation while
expanding support for cloud native applications through a dual-native
architecture that brings virtual machines and containers together under a
consistent operating model. Additional innovations include the introduction of
NKP Metal, which will extend the Nutanix operating model to bare-metal
Kubernetes environments.

was recognised as a Leader, positioned highest for Ability to Execute and

provide a consistent operating model across diverse infrastructure.
o The recognition evaluates Nutanix’s capabilities in server
virtualisation and comes as organisations continue to readjust to the changing
virtualisation industry landscape. Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (NCI), with its
built-in AHV hypervisor based on proven open-source KVM virtualisation
technology, brings together compute, storage, networking and virtualisation as
the infrastructure foundation for Nutanix Cloud Platform (NCP), providing a
unified way to run, manage, and govern VMs, containers, and AI workloads across
distributed environments.

· Container Management: Nutanix was
recognised as a Challenger for the second consecutive year, following the 2024
launch of Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP). NKP is designed to simplify
Kubernetes operations and can operate independently or as part of Nutanix Cloud
Platform, enabling Kubernetes across virtualised and bare-metal infrastructure,
public cloud, edge and air-gapped environments.

air-gapped environments. It helps organisations simplify the management of
cloud native applications across distributed, stateful, and disconnected
