Canon unveils its latest range of innovative technology for cinematography and broadcasting industry

Canon India, one of the leading digital imaging solution companies, launched its all-new innovative range of remote PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) cameras at the 32nd Broadcast India Show being held at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai from 8-10th October 2023. The new launches include the indoor CR-N100 remote PTZ camera and the outdoor, CR-X300 and CR-X500 remote PTZ cameras, that come with exceptional quality & connectivity supporting a wide range of broadcasting avenues such as conference, sports broadcast, wild animal observation, theme parks and indoor event spaces. Besides, the brand is showcasing its flagship cutting-edge cinematography and broadcasting range including its complete gamut of offerings of camera solutions from Cinema, ProDV, Mirrorless, Network visual solutions, along with RF lenses and Cinema Lenses through experiential booth concepts while holding engaging technical sessions led by Canon Masters.

 

Grander than ever, Canon’s four-sided booth was inaugurated by Mr. Manabu Yamazaki, President and CEO, Canon India along with renowned cinematographer and Cinema EOS Ambassador, Mr. Santosh Sivan. With its array of offerings for the cinema segment and its newly-launched innovations poised to deliver advanced video production, Canon India reinforces its legacy as a one stop solution for all production centric verticals and positions itself as the ideal choice for today’s new-age broadcasting, filmmaking (Cinema, OTT, Documentaries, Music albums), efficient streaming solution, electronic news gathering, general entertainment channels, Fashion, Wildlife, Weddings and Vlogging requirements.

 

To showcase the prowess of its vast technology, three engaging product experience zones have been set up by the brand including the Cinema booth, Professional Video Camera booth and Network Visual Solutions booth. Demonstrating key scenarios, the booth entails 8 different settings across the three days to highlight the versatility of Canon imaging technology and product potential. These settings are being led by actors with demarcated scripts and real time shooting scenarios in the space of Reality shows, OTT, Cinema and News broadcast. Varied concepts like a flower shop, investigation scene, coffee shop, sports commentary room, cookery show, science lab, yoga sessions are being depicted to shed light on the supreme functionality and usage of Canon products.

Additionally, taking pride in its widespread ambassador community that help spread the love for videography across India through Canon technology, a special ‘Wall of Canon Masters’ has also been put up on display capturing the phenomenal work done by them. Famous Canon Masters’ such as Anand Rathi, Aishwarya Sridhar, Pritesh Rao, Aishwaryaa Nayak, amongst many more are also going to be present at the show over the course of three days. Additionally, the exhibition is also featuring Canon’s alliances with leading Cinema technology manufacturers, APUTURE, DJI Ronin, Sennheiser and Chrosziel.
